Neck Pain

Neck pain has become an epidemic in our society.

Especially in the Upland community, corporate desk jobs are becoming more common. Our culture does not support good spinal health.

Just think about this, according to Statista, the chances of you reading this on your cell phone are about 50%. Most often, we see people looking at their phones with hands in their laps and their head looking down. Because of this, we find that cell phone use can lead to neck pain. What causes Neck Pain:

Technology is only one factor in why so many experience neck pain. It could be from macro traumas like whiplash or auto accidents, sports injuries, or play ground traumas. Another reason could be micro traumas like sleeping position (i.e. on your stomach), repetitive tasks at work or home, and bad posture habits. Most often, it is an accumulation of traumas acquired over a lifetime.

Often times, our job as Upland chiropractors is to understand what could be leading to your neck pain. However, we are much more concerned on fixing it.

Our approach to the spine is focused on finding the spinal level of irritated nerves, understanding how that spinal segment is malfunctioning, and working to correct the issue.
