Stop Making Health So Complicated

Health is not complicated.⁣

Unfortunately, too many people make it to be much more difficult than it is.⁣

There are so many different health fads that require you to make drastic changes in your life.⁣

Ok, let me take a moment to say that some of you really do need to make a drastic change. However, I know to many people that make drastic changes for a short period of time, and they end up falling right back where they were…sometimes worse!

This is why I always encourage people to take what they are already doing and make subtle changes in their life. ⁣

Here are a few examples that you can consider:

Going on a date?
  • Go hiking together
  • Go for a bike ride
  • Go for a walk around the park
  • Cook a healthy meal together
Hanging out with friends?
  • Have a meal prepping party
  • Play a sport together
  • Go dancing
On a computer?
  • Get or create a standing desk to allow movement
  • Sit on a stability ball for 10 minutes every hour
Watching TV?
  • Walk on a treadmill for 30-60 minutes
  • Ride an elliptical machine for 60 minutes
  • Do push ups, hold planks, walk in place during every commercial

Becoming healthy just takes some planning and deciding to not make anymore excuses.⁣

Remember, health is not complicated. It’s actually quite simple, we just make it more complicated than it really is.
